Experience | energy | vision

Meet Cat

"I’m standing to be Labour’s candidate for Sussex Mayor because I have the experience, energy and vision to win – and to deliver real change for our communities across East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton & Hove."

With 15 years in business and over a decade in public and voluntary leadership, I understand how to get things done. I’ve served as a councillor in Adur, led charities supporting families and voluntary organisations, and now represent members nationally on Labour’s NEC, where I contribute to our Clean Energy Superpower mission and champion member democracy.

I grew up in a rural working family, and I understand Sussex’s mix of countryside, coast and city life.

As a campaigner, I’ve led and won elections at district and national level, using creativity, data and teamwork to deliver results. I’m proud of my record in connecting people, building trust, and turning engagement into votes.

I’m a unifier and a listener.

Together, we can show that Labour delivers — for every part of Sussex.
